Utilizes the experience of membership to remain in contact with state and national governmental elected officials, to help our members maximize their profitability. Involved in the 1996 farm legislation, emphasizing critical reforms contained in the "Freedom to Farm" legislation which was adopted.

Small Grains is maintained cooperatively by the Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers (MAWG), the Minnesota Wheat Research and Promotion Council, and the University of Minnesota's Northwest Experiment Station. The mission is to provide timely information to wheat farmers in the region.
